If you live in Ashley Park, here are the voting district  numbers  that apply to you:

Federal--The legislative branch of the federal government, the U.S. Congress, consists of 100 senators, two from each state, and 435 representatives, four of whom are from Kansas.

Senators are elected from the state as a whole to six-year terms, whereas house representatives are elected from within congressional districts to two-year terms.

Of the four U.S. congressional districts in Kansas, you live in District  3 .

 

State--The Kansas Legislature consists of 40 senators, one from each Senate district, and 125 representatives, one from each Congressional district.  Statewide elections also take place for seats on the Board of Education, of which there are 10.

Your Kansas Senate District is  10  (of 7 in Johnson County and 40 in Kansas), your Kansas House District is  17  (of 22 in Johnson County and 125 in Kansas), and your Board of Education District is  2   (of 2 in Johnson County and 10 in Kansas).

 

County--The county of Johnson is governed by a chairman and six county commissioners, one from each district, and you live in District  2 .

 

City--The city of Lenexa is governed by a mayor and eight council members.  Each ward, of which there are four, elects two city council members.  You live in Ward  3 .

Each ward is divided into precincts for the only purpose of determining where you vote, and you live in Precinct  7  of Ward 3.
